The Master you choose to serve, is the kind of life that reflects yours. If you choose Jesus to be your Master then learn and accept that His life will reflect your life, if you choose to serve the enemy you will see the same reflection of the enemy. You are the mirror or reflection of who you serve. Luke 17:21 says that “the Kingdom of God is within you” The eternal dwelling is already within you and me the Word says it is. This verse tells me that God has placed eternity in our hearts. Keeping watch is for us to know the season. A careful observation for the kingdom of God to come will make you miss it, longing for His coming will make us not see it, for the Kingdom of God is already within you and me. Our souls go to where our Master is. We are individuals living eternity on earth, serving Spiritual Masters on earth. Serving Jesus, you have to accept the whole package of being His servant, a follower of Jesus and the consequences of serving Him. Both Masters have eternal dwelling. You are not above your Master.
As we see the Day approaching we will see more consequences of serving Him. Luke 17:25 “but first he must suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.” Part of enduring to the end is to constantly remind ourselves that we will be rejected, persecuted, hated, ridiculed, etc. How far are you willing to serve Him? Will you give up on Jesus when it gets tough? Will you deny him when you get handed over to synagogues or imprisoned? Will you trade Him for a family member? Will you still choose Him when you are at the point of starvation? And when you are at the point of getting your head chopped off will you choose your own breath, or will you choose Jesus who is closer than your breath? Will you choose to die for Jesus because Jesus died for you? You are not above your Master. Will He find you operating in faith when He comes? Luke 18:8 “I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?
2 kingdoms are already at work, and there is no denying it. Both kingdoms are Spiritually discerned. Some can see and some can’t, because both kingdoms are mysteries. The Kingdom of God is a mystery. You don’t need to be “woke”, you need to be born again, and once your born again the Holy Spirit will reveal all things to you.” Understand that revelation is just one of the Holy Spirit’s works in us.
John 3:3 “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God
unless he is born again.”
John 3:7 “You should not be surprised at my saying,
you must be born again.”
1 Corinthians 2:10 “but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches all things even the deep things of God.”
Know that our Master Jesus has not left us unprepared. No matter how prepared we think we all are, God has prepared us all. Wherever you are, you are there for a reason for such a time as this. Acts 17:26 “From one man he made every nation of men that they should inhabit the whole earth and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.”
KEEP WATCH UNTO PRAYER
1 PETER 4:7 KJV “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.”
(Luke 17:21) - The Kingdom of God is within you and me.
*YOU ARE NOT ABOVE YOUR MASTER*
